Adenia glauca

 

Description: This succulent Passion Flower relative is native to South Africa and develops a fat, tapered base topped with vine-like stems. The attractive, bright green, leaves are rounded in outline and consist of 3-5 lobes. The fat base can grow up to 2 feet across. 

Habitat and Distribution:
Adenia glauca is native to South Africa. 

Ornamental Features:  Adenia glauca is considered by many to be the most attractive member of the genus. At maturity, its massive, swollen caudex can reach up to 2 feet across and is topped by the many vine-like stems with the dark green palmately shaped leaves.
