Description:
Needle Leaf Agave is a small, offsetting species with
individual rosettes growing to about 1 foot tall and 1 foot
across. The narrow, yellow-green leaves are toothless on the
margin, but have a very sharp tip.
Habitat and Distribution:
Agave stricta is native to the Tehuacan Valley of
southern Puebla and northern Oaxaca. It is generally found on
flats in the open desert.
