Agave garciae-mendozae is native to central Mexico in the states of Hidalgo, Queretaro, and San Luis Potosi, and these plants are grown from seed collected near Pinal de Amoles in Queretaro. Leaves are generally sword shaped, bright green, but sometimes gray-green, beautiful teeth along the margin. Frost sensitive, showing some damage when temperatures dip in to the mid-20’s F.
