Description
Agave petrophila is a rock loving plant that hails from Oaxaca and adjacent Guerrero. Very thin, yellow-green, needle-like leaves radiate out from around the central core by the hundreds giving the plant the look of a sea anemone. This one does not like full sun in the desert southwest and is frost sensitive, so is best grown in a pot under some shade and protected from winter temperatures below 32 degrees F.
