I received seed from Brian Kemble at the Ruth Bancroft Garden from a plant he described as a “great grandchild of Agave parrasana. First, he had an Agave parrasana flower that was pollinated by an unknown species. He grew those and selected one he called ‘Parras Princess’. That plant flowered and was pollinated by an unknown species. He grew plants from that seed and when one of those flowered, he crossed that with pollen from an Agave potatorum x Agave colorata hybrid that was flowering. He then sent me seed from that cross which is what I have listed here. I will have to keep a couple for myself to see what they turn into!
