Description
Agave x leopoldii was noted as a garden hybrid between Agave filifera and Agave schidigera by Alwin Berger in Die Agaven, his 1915 treatment of agaves. This is a wonderful little plant that does very well in a container.

This garden hybrid between Agave filifera and Agave schidigera makes a great container plant. Small rosettes to about 12 inches across will produce offsets. Curly white threads along the leaf margins and small, yet sharp terminal spines. Photo is of a 6-inch pot, but the plant for sale is growing in a 3-inch pot.
