Description
Mammillaria rhodantha subspecies pringlei has long, beautiful, golden yellow spines and white bristle-like hairs in the axils. Plants are either solitary or branch dichotomously with stems to 6-8 inches tall. Bright rose-purple flowers are about 0.5 inch long. Habitat shots show straight Mammillaria rhodantha and not subspecies pringlei.
