Description

Hechtia argentea can be seen in the Barranca de Toliman to the northwest of Zimapan in Hidalgo, Mexico. Plants grow on the steep, rocky, cliff faces near the bottom of the canyon. In nature mature plants have silvery white leaves and are about 18-24 inches across.
