Description
In 2019, I described Agave oteroi, providing a formal description for the species from the Sierra Mixteca in the Tehuacán-Cuicatlán valley long known as Agave FO-076. The FO-076 was the 76th seed collection that Felipe Otero made and it happened to be this Agave with short, broadly obovate, thick leaves edged with large, variously curved and flexed teeth.
