These Agave isthmensis are from the inland population in Oaxaca and tend to be smaller than the more commonly seen coastal form. The plants are in 3-inch pots.

Description

Agave isthmensis is known from four localities, two in Chiapas and two in Oaxaca. Most plants in cultivation have come from the coastal population near Salina Cruz in Oaxaca. These are from seed collected at the inland population southwest of Lachivixa in Oaxaca.
