Astrophytum capricorne var. niveum – 3-inch pot

Description

Astrophytum capricorne var. niveum is native to the state of Coahuila in the Chihuahuan Desert. The plant can grow to about 18-20 inches tall with a stem diameter of 7-9 inches. The body is densely covered with white flecks and the spines are thicker than regular Astrophytum capricorne. Large yellow flowers with red or orange centers appear off and on throughout the summer and early fall.
