These Agave parryi are grown from seed collected in the Sierrita Mountains about 30 miles south of Tucson. The are solitary or offsetting, very symmetrical rosettes that are blue gray when mature.

Description

Agave parryi is a highly variable, yet easily recognizable plant that, in Flora of North America, is divided into two subspecies with subspecies parryi further divided into three varieties that are weakly differentiated. I have not measured the flowers on this one but simply regard it as subspecies parryi without any further subdivision.
